Statement
Port Air Express is a family owned and operated cargo and freight forwarding company based in NY. They specialize in providing reliable logistics and transport services for ocean, air, and ground freight. They’re experienced in the importing and exporting logistics of foods, beverages, textiles, electronics, refrigerated items, dry goods, and more.
Port Air met with us when they began renovating office space and needed new office furniture in Brooklyn. They already had a specific office design concept, so all we needed to do was listen and follow their instinctive good taste.
For the cubicle area we specified 10 L shaped workstations from AIS Divi. To respect a conservative furniture budget, we integrated the workstations with the existing walls and available power and data outlets. As a result, we saved a few thousand dollars by eliminating the need for cubicle electrical wiring and many cubicle panels. The white cubicle fabric, maple desk surfaces, white 3 drawer filing cabinets, and frosted glass dividers keep the space feeling light, airy, and inviting.
Since glass partition walls lined the 6 private offices, the L shaped executive desks and managers desks were highly visible and therefore needed to be elegant and presentable. The client wanted to maintain a clean and simple office aesthetic. Square metal table legs and thin desk surfaces keep it looking modern. Low storage credenzas as the desk return keep the clutter tucked out of sight. And the dark espresso desk finish complements the cream-colored office walls and natural stone floor.
The final result of this office design project is a welcoming work environment with quality office furniture and timeless finishes.
